BOSS Membership Information BOSS is a club of home brewing hobbyists. Our meetings are held once a month in club member's homes or at local brewpubs around the Southwest Chicago Suburbs. We have members from Joliet to Crown Point, from Hyde Park to Kankakee. If you have never brewed beer, but are interested in learning how, or if you have been brewing for years, consider joining our club. Our membership ranges in experiences from beginning brewers to commercial microbrewers. All levels of experiences are welcome. We also welcome others who have an interest in brewing and quality beer.

Meeting Fees Our standard meeting fee is $10 for members and $15 for guests. This covers club expenses and food. Because we base how much food to have on hand from the number of RSVPs received, we ask that you RSVP no later than 48 hours before the meeting.

Annual Dues Annual dues for this fiscal year are $35. Our fiscal year runs from May 1st to April 30th. Payment any time between those dates constitutes membership until the following April 30th. So, anyone who has not paid for the current year will have guest status at meetings. There is no reduced rate for joining or renewing late in the fiscal year. Renewing members must renew by the BOSS annual picnic in September to receive the annual club premium for that year.
